English At Large – Woburn

English At Large (EAL) offers free, community-based English programs for adult learners at all levels. Our programs help learners reach their personal, educational, civic, and career goals. Programs include One-to-One Tutoring, Beginner English Classes, Intermediate English Classes, and Conversation Groups.

Programs are offered in public spaces in 24 communities across Greater Boston, making them accessible and convenient for adult learners.

English At Large uses a learner-centered approach rather than a single curriculum. Instruction is adapted to each learner’s goals, learning style, and comfort with speaking English. Tutors and Conversation Group Facilitators are trained to use different teaching strategies to support meaningful communication and learner success.
