High School Equivalency Classes

HSE classes and pre-HSE classes prepare you to take the GED® and/or HiSET® exam in English and/or Spanish. In an HSE class, you’ll study all of the subjects on the GED® and HiSET®: math, English Language Arts, social studies, and science. ABE classes teach beginner-level reading, writing, and math for students who need to strengthen those skills to be ready for HSE classes. Your program will help you figure out which level is right for you.

In Massachusetts, ABE, pre-HSE, and HSE classes are all available in English and Spanish.
