High School Equivalency Classes

HSE classes and pre-HSE classes prepare you to take the GED® and/or HiSET® exam in English and/or Spanish. In an HSE class, you’ll study all of the subjects on the GED® and HiSET®: math, English Language Arts, social studies, and science. ABE classes teach beginner-level reading, writing, and math to help students get ready for HSE classes. Your program will help you figure out which level is right for you.

In Massachusetts, ABE, pre-HSE, and HSE classes are all available in English and Spanish.
