Adult Learning Center Middlesex Community College – Bedford

Bedford, MA

The Adult Learning Center (ALC) classes help students improve their literacy, mathematics, and computing skills in order to earn a High School equivalency credential, enroll in college, enter job training, or obtain employment. Students are assessed during registration to determine an appropriate level of instruction in each subject. The ALC staff and faculty are committed to helping all students improve their education and achieve their goals in a safe and supportive environment.

All students must enroll or re-enroll each semester. Students must complete a registration form and take placement tests before they can attend classes. Students should register at the start of each semester in September and/or January. The program offers rolling admission during the fall and spring semesters if seats are available.

Daytime classes meet Tuesdays (in person), Wednesdays (online) and Thursdays (in person) from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Evening classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays (online only) from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
